Feeling back to normal again with my eating, and living my Vegan lifestyle, I completed day two! Ahhhh... SO has anything changed? Well you would think NO- because it's only been two days, but when you are allergic to foods and you keep eating them until you realize you CAN'T eat them and you suddenly stop..ALL of the symptoms DO in fact STOP and subside. For two days now I have been paying close attention to my energy, moods, and bloating. Wouldn't you know it... My energy has been steady, my mood has been great and well, the bloating.. (DRUM ROLL- please?) GONE!
Along with the crispy bright and antioxidant loaded salad, I made two Dr. Preagar's veggie burgers, and some Mary's Gone Crackers. These veggie burgers are so delicious. They are not meaty like...I don't fry them, I nuke them for 2 minutes on one side and 1 minute on the other. The edges get hard, yet the middle stays soft- I like them like that.
This little bottle of vinegar is actually one I have had my eyes on lately at Whole Foods. If I was going to pay $9 for Vinegar, it BETTER taste incredible! It's made of Fig juice, apple vinegar, grape juice etc....It taste delicious, and NOT so pungent! Only 4 calories per tablespoon- I'LL TAKE THAT! It was really good! Will I buy another bottle? Probably NOT, I make my own dressing and doesn't require all of those juices.
I saw these beautiful blackberries, and decided I needed to have them...
So my life is getting in the way of my runs! This is something I am NOT happy about, because I have a race coming up. I will conquer these long runs, and I will not struggle, quit or give up! I am getting welcomed into the Catholic Church on Sunday- It's a VERY big deal for me, and I am THRILLED... This is why I can't run with my girls on Sunday or hang with the crew for the Super Bowl....BUT...God, Jesus and my relationship with them comes first.Today we did mostly legs and supplemented with chest and back- It was pretty awesome. When I told Raha we were dumb bell pressing 25lb dumb bells for 15 reps, she just looked at me. I think if I told her we were pressing 50's she would just do it! I LOVE her attitude- She just gets it done.
